Terrier close to extinction charms Crufts to win Best in Show
@What he lacked in stature, he made up for in style. Last night an endearing terrier whose breed is on the verge of extinction won Best in Show at Crufts.
The Sealyham beat six other finalists, including a pharaoh hound, a flamboyant poodle and an Old English sheepdog named Cruella, to claim first prize at the dog show.
It may have been the endearing paw that he lifted as the judge examined him one last time, or the dazzling white coat and irresistible bearded face, but Charmin, from Pennsylvania, charmed Peter Green, the judge, to win the title. The standard poodle, called Donny, from Preston, took the reserve prize in the show, which was held at the NEC in Birmingham.’
… and he’s an American!!!
Read the lot, for a smile!
